Salute American's Heroes
The mission of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes is to help severely-wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn recover from their injuries and illnesses, and to inspire other organizations and the general public to participate in this effort.
United Way
Everyone should be able to make healthy choices for themselves and their families. But our rural communities in West Tennessee often face barriers when making such decisions. We intervene by partnering with local organizations that offer access to food and mental health services.
VFW
We understand the challenges that our active-duty service members (to include activated Guard/Reserve members) and their families can face, and we believe that experiencing financial difficulties should not be one of them. That's the premise behind the VFW’s Financial Assistance for Service Members program.
Air and Space Forces Aid Society
AFAS provides financial assistance in the form of an interest-free loan or a grant. The purpose is to help stabilize a member’s emergency financial situation to solve a problem so the member can focus on the Air Force/Space Force mission. A budget is required, and payment is made directly to the Service Member by Zelle or Bank ACH.
American Legion
Since 1925, The American Legion's Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) program has provided cash grants to support the minor children of active duty service members and American Legion members in times of need.
Army Emergency Relief
To provide financial assistance, educational scholarships and enduring support to Soldiers, retired Soldiers and their families, helping them to overcome obstacles and encourage financial stability.
Coast Guard Mutual Assistance
Almost everyone associated with the U.S. Coast Guard is eligible to request assistance. Many programs can be used for spouses and children of the member.
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
Military life has its own challenges. And when Sailors and Marines face unexpected hardships, NMCRS understands better than anyone else. That’s why we offer interest-free loans and grants—most times on the same day—so you stay mission ready.
Semper Fi & American's Fund
We provide direct financial assistance and vital programming ranging from bedside support during hospitalization to covering basic needs. As recovery continues, we arrange for specialized equipment and adaptive modifications to homes and vehicles.
